Support Pride 2017
You can support Pride in the Park 2017.
Think about what Pride means. Pride is celebrated in June, marking the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots when LGBTQ people from every walk of life-- people of color, working people, those building new lives-- stood up for their rights against bigotry and oppression. Pride is an affirmation of our identities and our commitment to standing up for what is good about all of us.
To those folks who are familiar with Pride in the Park, Pride is home to new memories. It's the smiles on the faces of young adults in a fun space that celebrates them. It's LGBTQ families visiting with their kids and seeing that there are other families just like theirs and that, yes, they are entitled to equality and love, just like any other family. It's showcasing our community to Fairfield County, as we bring in A-list celebrities to take part in celebrating our community and our commitment to fighting for you.
Please make a donation to support Pride in the Park 2017 and think about what Pride means to you. We are grateful for your support.
Unless you would like to opt out, your donation to support Pride in the Park will be noted in the Fairfield County Pride Guide. Your name will be listed among those who are standing up for our community.
